Today is the Feast of our Lady of Guadalupe, protectress of the unborn

' thou shall not kill' it is the sixth commandment. There are no excuses to do an abortion, as this is an act of killing of the innocent. Only God is in control of our lives....and we have no right to kill the innocent. Last Wednesday our lady of Borg in-nadur came crying because of this crime. she said that people around the world d0 their best to protect animals like crocodiles and birds. But then there are laws in favor of abortion.
let us all do something to stop this massacre of the innocent. Stop abortion now! let us not be afraid to say it loud and clear.
John Paul II stated at Denver, on the occasion of the Eighth World Youth Day, "with time the threats against life have not grown weaker. They are taking on vast proportions. They are not only threats coming from the outside, from the forces of nature or the 'Cains who kill the Abels'; no, they are scientifically and systematically programmed threats. The twentieth century will have been an era of massive attacks on life, an endless series of wars and a continual taking of innocent human life. False prophets and false teachers have had the greatest success".

Life is a gift that God has given us. That life is present even in the unborn. A human hand should never end a life. I am convinced that the screams of the children whose lives have been terminated before their birth reach God’s ears. Mother Theresa.

let us pray :dear Mary and Joseph you who saved baby Jesus from king Herod, help and protect our society from this culture of death, intercede for us and take this prayer to your son Jesus the bearer and giver of life.

Today Is The feast of the Immaculate Conception

When we recite the first joyful mystery we reflect on the immaculate conception. Mary did not understand on what the angel had told her but with humility said yes to do God's will, she cooperated with the plan of salvation. Mary our mother is the new Eve. where eve lacked obedience Mary had full obedience. With eve's disobedience entered death and with the pain[ see for the seven sorrows of Mary ] of our immaculate conception we obtained life. next to the tree of life eve lost the battle, and Mary next to the cross of her son Jesus the battle was won for eternity, it is here next to the cross where our lady became our mother, the mother of all nations! Mary was the first disciple, the new ark of the covenant, the first Tabernacle, where our lord dwelt. Just as king David danced before the Ark of the Lord so did John the Baptist danced in his mother womb's before this new Ark of the Lord. And we too must dance with Joy as we are justified with the blood of the lamb, all we have to do is obey God's Word and repent, C F, Isaiah, 1:18 " Come now, let us talk this over, says the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool."

" In the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin's name was Mary. The angel went to her and said, "Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you."Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. But the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end."
"How will this be," Mary asked the angel, "since I am a virgin?"The angel answered, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God. Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be barren is in her sixth month. For nothing is impossible with God.""I am the Lord's servant," Mary answered. "May it be to me as you have said." Then the angel left her". Luke 1;26-38

let us pray: Dear mother Mary today is your feast, help us and obtain for us the grace of obedience, humility and purity in our soul, help us always to spread the good news ,the good news of salvation to the ends of the earth, we prayed this in the name of the most high Jesus Amen.

FOLLOWING THE STAR........

Let us reflect on our spiritual journey with the three wise men.

The three wise men help me to reflect that no matter who or where we are, the call is for all. Everyone of us has got a special calling, mission and vocation. The journey is a long one, but we need three special things for this, first we need our will, when this is combined with good intentions to serve God it becomes like a pot of Gold for our soul. this will lead us to act, our actions becomes prayer, like perfumed incense to God. In this journey we need extra effort as it is not always easy to lead on. this will be like myrrh. this taste bitter but it smells nice especially when you add it with incense. So we must not be afraid when we are faced with obstacles and turmoils, although these may sound bitter to us, but will add a special perfume, an extra beauty to our interior life. we need to keep on focusing on the shining star that is on Jesus, he is our destination. To reach our destination we need wisdom to truly recognize Christ. The three men where really wise to bow down before the king of kings. This also require humility. Only with humble eyes that we are able to see Jesus.

In this journey we cannot go back to where we started or look back as Jesus said in Luke 9:62—
“Any person, who has put his or her hand to the plow, then looks back is not fit for the kingdom of God.”

After the visit the Magi leave the narrative by returning another way so as to avoid Herod, and do not reappear. Gregory the Great waxed lyrical on this theme, commenting that having come to know Jesus we are forbidden to return by the way we came. [ Biblical magi:From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia]
let us pray: Dear Jesus help us to have a clean and sincere heart so that we may be worthy to welcome you this Christmas, help us to realize that you are the greatest gift that we can ever have. Dear mother of the saviour, help us to say 'yes' to do the will of God like you, in whatever circumstances. St.Joseph spouse of the virgin Mary give us the gift of silence so that our actions may speak for themselves for the glory of the trinity,Amen

PREPARING FOR CHRISTMAS

when we think of what had happened some 2000 years ago we may be surprised on how all the door were closed for the holy family.

At this time we all have a lot to prepare, buying gifts, food, clothing etc, Do we realize that we are still closing the doors to Jesus like back then? As soon as we neglect the call to forgive, repent, going to mass/confession and saying the rosary, we are closing the door in Jesus' face. Jesus is sending his mother to Malta,to pray with us, to teach us to love God, to convert! let us not close the door anymore. Our mother Mary lacked all the necessities to bear her son, but the presence of Jesus in her arms and the love and support of Joseph were sufficient. The secret of a peaceful and happy Christmas is to love God with all your might and to love your neighbor. In John 13:34-35 we read "I give you a new commandment: Love one another; you MUST love one another just as i have loved you. It is by your love for one another that everyone will recognise you as my disciples"

From my heart I wish you have a mary, Jesus and Joseph Christmas

When humanity thought that it was finished, for God it was only the begining

How great are your works oh my lord, we can never grasp your majesty but you showed us a simple and yet courageous way to follow JESUS and imitate him. when humanity thought that it was finished, it is there when you were bringing your work to perfection, Jesus bowed his head for us, as we said no to you Lord with our sin, Jesus perfected our image Lord so that we may be made worthy in front of you.
Thank you my Lord and my God.

Marriage comes from God

Many times our lady of borg in-nadur spoke about the disaster that our islands enter in if we accept divorce. we must always say 'no' to divorce.

let us reflect on the sacredness of marriage :

"a man leaves his father and mother and clings to his wife, and the two of them become one flesh" (Genesis 2: 24). Scripture teaches that God had established marriage.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church, #1601 teaches that Marriage is a covenant "by which a man and woman establish between themselves a partnership for the whole of life.

The Second Vatican Council (see Church in the Modern World, #48). reminds us that the marriage covenant exists not only for the good of the partners and their children, but also for the good of the Church and the good of society at large.

A CHRISTIAN WEDDING IS ALSO AN ECCLESIAL EVENT THE CCC EXPLAINS THIS CLEARLY:
"In the Latin Rite the celebration of marriage between two Catholic faithful normally takes place during Holy Mass, because of the connection of all the sacraments with the Paschal mystery of Christ. In the Eucharist the memorial of the New Covenant is realized, the New Covenant in which Christ has united himself forever to the Church, his beloved bride for whom he gave himself up. It is therefore fitting that the spouses should seal their consent to give themselves to each other through the offering of their own lives by uniting it to the offering of Christ for his Church made present in the Eucharistic sacrifice, and by receiving the Eucharist so that, communicating in the same Body and the same Blood of Christ, they may form but 'one body' in Christ" (Catechism, #1 621).

MARRIAGE IS ALSO A MIRROR OF CHRIST AND THE CHURCH

"'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.' This is a great mystery, and I am applying it to Christ and the church" (Ephesians 5:31-32).

"God's love for us can never end in divorce. God is faithful even if we are not. The Church desires that even if one of the partners of a marriage is faithless to the marriage bond, the other, by remaining faithful, gives a powerful witness to the community of the way God loves us". [Sacrament of Marriage:Sign of Faithful Love by Thomas Richstatter, O.F.M., Th.D.]

let us pray: Father in the name of your son Jesus help us to truly safeguard our society from this disease of divorce in penetrating our island, help us to remain strong when facing this type of crisis in our society. your word remains forever the same, it never expires as where it touches it refreshes, because you are the living water.

Pray for vocations

Hebrews 7:17 says "You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek."

Our Lady several times mentioned the priests, below there is a message of 9th of July 2008 at borg in-nadur

Message of 9th July, 2008 given at Borg in-Nadur
"My children and my dear children - the ones of my heart. What follows is for Fr Hayden to convey to the people. Be mindful of diocesan priests, religious priests, conventual priests and nuns.Today I want to speak to you about diocesan religious priests. These are persons chosen by me and my Son Jesus. In our eyes, they are special men. Therefore, show them every respect. Only they, and none other may administer the sacraments.Tonight I wish to give you a message on the Sacrament of Confession. My dear children, it is becoming customary to say: “I hate no one. I need not go to a priest, a common man like myself. I will prostrate myself before a crucifix and there discharge myself. I hate no one, I wrong no one. I do not want to go to Church, because they do wrong just like myself, and even worse than me.My children I want you not to reason in this way – you who are gathering up here on the hill of Borg in-Nadur, where I am coming, since I am being sent to you by God. Never reason in this way my children. Show every reverence to diocesan and conventual priests. You are to have respect for them throughout your life. Whenever you are in need of them seek them out for confession and kneel at their feet. They are ready to listen to you. It is not true that they will call you names or want to be inquisitive about you. Yes, do not become lost as the rest of the crowd does. Respect Bishops in a special way. They are the shepherds of the Church.Thank you for having listened to my call".
we have great responsibility towards priests, we need to help them live their vocations. As only they can give Jesus to us. our lady cannot consecrate bread and wine, she cannot forgive sins either. So it will be a tragedy for us all if vocations keep on decreasing and priests giving up their priesthood. we must remember that vocations flourish from strong families. so striving to have strong families is and must be a priority. All this will result in a peaceful and a strong society, where God is in the centre again of our lives. Our society needs radical conversion only with prayers and our daily offerings that we can achieve this result, let us all try to console out two sacred heart of Jesus and Mary. Priests you are so dear to our lady! she calls you-my dear children-the ones of my heart, what a privilege! treasure this, it will be worth more than anything!
I want to share a short true story before I close today, there was an important man who was on his dead bed. Obviously a lot of VI P'S went to visit him. But the dying man did not want to see any of them, all he wanted by his bedside was a priest!

The feast of our lady's Birthday

Dear Mother Mary tomorrow is your feast, I want to give you all sorts of presents..you know, the greatest present that I can give you is to promise you to love your son more each day and to offer my sufferings for conversion of sinners, for vocations, peace in the world, families and for those who want to commit abortion.

Tuesday I'm going to hospital again and Wednesday I'll have Chemotherapy, I offer it to you, take this offering to your son Jesus. Intercede for me ,and for all the people who are reading this. You had always been a refuge for all who came to you. please be near me..I need you.

You are a sweet mum, without the stain of sin. the holy spirit showered you with his love You were the first Tabernacle.

Your eyes are like Jewels pure, precious and rare. when you smile you bring sunshine in the world, you warm us ! your hair is like pure silk! and your heart is like an ocean of love, always fresh with it's pure breeze. I cannot describe your voice, but I feel it within me, I feel it as sweet as Honey. Your Hands are of a strong woman because you carry us with our burdens to your son. my Dear Mother happy feast, I love you. ........ One last thing tell Papa that I love him and tomorrow I will try to love him more through my neighbor, Thank you for being there!

The sacred hearts of Jesus and Mary are deeply wounded

You shall not make wrongful use of the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not acquit anyone who misuses his name.

In last week's apparition at hill of Borg in-nadur during the second mystery of the rosary our lady started crying. In her message she said that her heart and the heart of Jesus are in pain beacuse people keep misusing their names. she also spoke again about broken marriages, adultery and anulllment which are too causing great pain in the heart of Jesus and mary. let us all pray the rosary for conversion, offer sacrifices, and fast.

let us console Jesus and mary by prasing His name, there is no other name than the name Jesus, his name will endure forever as Jesus is the lord. I want to thank you Lord for your Love cause you are Love.

Phil 2: 9-11 States
9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

" I will keep on coming to the hill of borg in-nadur even for one person"

During an apparition our lady said that she will keep on coming to the hill even for one person. This made me reflect on how important a soul is to God, how precious. God does not want one single soul to be lost, he wants salvation for all. That's why he is sending our blessed mother. Whenever our mother appears, she comes to take us to Jesus. Jesus must remain the centre point in our lives. Jesus searches for that lost sheep with the help of his mother.

God will provide the lamb

Abraham the father of faith.

How Abraham must have felt when God asked him to offer his only, long awaited for, son! he obeyed and trusted in the lord probably with great pain and anguish in his soul,.. but he trusted him.

In the book of Genesis in chapter 22 v 5 we read this"Then Abraham said to his servants,"stay here with the donkey. The boy and I are going over there; we shall worship and then come back to you". He did not say "I" but "we"..he believed that he was going to return with his son.

God tested his faith, love and obedience..in return God provided himself the perfect lamb...his only begotten son, the perfect sacrifice for you, me and all humanity.

So just try to imagine what great joy our lady had with her only son. How much she cherished him, how much she looked after him with great love and affection. Our lady the perfect eve, too obeyed with great faith in God but with great pain. The pain where she gave birth to all humanity at the foot of the cross" behold your mother". we can see great faith in our lady in the gospels, especially in mark chapter 16 v 1 where we read that "Mary of Magdala,Mary the mother of James and Salome went to the tomb of Jesus with spices to go and anoint his body". Our Lady did not go because she believed that her son will rise from the dead..his body will not remain buried! what great faith! let us all pray to our lady so that we will have this kind of trust in God and believe that nothing is impossible for God!

OUR LADY AS CO-REDEPMTRIX , MEDIATRIX AND ADVOCATE

Today friday August 22nd is the queenship of the blessed virgin, there is no woman like her on earth and in heavens above. we need to put more our trust in her as she is our shortcut to Jesus. She keeps coming at the hill of Borg in-nadur and to our sister island gozo. to ask us for conversion, and for conversion in the families. she is advising us as a dear mother to pray the rosary for peace in the world and to avoid natural disasters. only by listening to her, prayers and do our best to change our lives that we are able to see results. below we will see some of the teachings of late Pope John II, to really appreciate our heavenly mum.

1985: Pope John Paul II recognized Mary as co-redemptrix" during a speech in Guayaquil, Ecuador. He said, in part, "Having suffered for the Church, Mary deserved to become the Mother of all the disciples of her Son, the Mother of their unity...In fact Mary’s role as Co-redemptrix did not cease with the glorification of her Son."

1987-MAR-25: In his encyclical Redemptoris Mater, Pope John Paul II states
11. In the salvific design of the Most Holy Trinity, the mystery of the Incarnation constitutes the superabundant fulfillment of the promise made by God to man after original sin, after that first sin whose effects oppress the whole earthly history of man (cf. Gen. 3:15). And so, there comes into the world a Son, "the seed of the woman" who will crush the evil of sin in its very origins: "he will crush the head of the serpent." As we see from the words of the Protogospel, the victory of the woman's Son will not take place without a hard struggle, a struggle that is to extend through the whole of human history. The "enmity," foretold at the beginning, is confirmed in the Apocalypse (the book of the final events of the Church and the world), in which there recurs the sign of the "woman," this time "clothed with the sun" (Rev. 12:1).
Mary, Mother of the Incarnate Word, is placed at the very center of that enmity, that struggle which accompanies the history of humanity on earth and the history of salvation itself. In this central place, she who belongs to the "weak and poor of the Lord" bears in herself, like no other member of the human race, that "glory of grace" which the Father "has bestowed on us in his beloved Son," and this grace determines the extraordinary greatness and beauty of her whole being. Mary thus remains before God, and also before the whole of humanity, as the unchangeable and inviolable sign of God's election, spoken of in Paul's letter: "in Christ...he chose us...before the foundation of the world,...he destined us...to be his sons" (Eph. 1:4, 5). This election is more powerful than any experience of evil and sin, than all that "enmity" which marks the history of man. In this history Mary remains a sign of sure hope.

1997-APR-9: During an audience Pope John-Paul II referred to the role of Mary during the crucifixion of Jesus: "Mary … co-operated during the event itself and in the role of mother; thus her co-operation embraces the whole of Christ’s saving work. She alone was associated in this way with the redemptive sacrifice that merited the salvation of all mankind. In union with Christ and in submission to him, she collaborated in obtaining the grace of salvation for all humanity...In God’s plan, Mary is the ‘woman’ (cf. John 2:4; John 19:26), the New Eve, united to the New Adam in restoring humanity to its original dignity. Her cooperation with her Son continues for all time in the universal motherhood which she enjoys in the order of grace. Trusting in this maternal cooperation, let us turn to Mary, imploring her help in all our needs."

THE TOOLS

The tools to live as Jesus lived are the daily Eucharist, reading the word of God, and reciting the holy rosary.

Every Wednesday our lady of Borg in-nadur is giving us Divine messages, she is speaking of conversion in the world, she is telling us to pray the rosary to bring peace and conversion in the world.

GOD IS LOVE

Jesus showed us the way for a perfect love for one another, to really love is to serve and forget yourself, to give unconditional love.
unfortunately humanity is in crisis because it is giving a selfish love based on the pleasure of satisfying the individual selfish needs.
we should all strive to love and serve one another as Jesus showed us. God constantly wants to love and embrace us, he wants to teach us his ways...so that we may have life in us...and life in abundance. whatever the situation that we are passing through at the moment, we must never forget that God Loves us and he wants the best for us, he promised that he will never leave us, cf
Hebrews 13:5 . . . God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
prayer: I know lord you want me to be your witness of this love ,help me so that I will be able to give generously....without wanting nothing in return.

JESUS TOOK UPON HIMSELF THE STORMS OF OUR LIVES

In the Gospel of mk4:35-41 we see Jesus calming the storm. The Gospel says that the apostles woke him up because they were frightened, they touched Jesus because of their fear. he scolded them in return for their lack of faith, as by his command there followed a great calm. How many times that we call to Jesus because of such storms in our lives, thanks to those storms we are able to touch Jesus. We must believe that whatever the situation Jesus is there, the lamb of GOD who took upon himself the sins, storms, sickness pain and trials of the world.

THEIR EYES MET

It's not only the physical side that caused great pain in Jesus but also the emotional side, that is seeing the pain in his mother's eyes and on the other hand the emotional pain that greatly wounded Mary his mother. no wonder the blessed virgin mother of God continues to appear in Malta and throughout the world as Jesus paid a high price for every soul.

During every illness all of the patient's family suffer, me and my family are enduring this pain at the moment...now who can understand us more than Jesus and his mother? knowing that we're not alone is a great comfort...

EMBRACING THE CROSS

Tomorrow I'm going to start my chemo again, for me this is the road to Calvary...what an opportunity it is to meet Christ!, to continue his work of redemptive suffering. All this remains a mystery, i have no explanation to it but I'm praying that I will be able to use it for the conversion of souls. With agony Jesus embraced the cross for the love of souls. let us all be responsible and try to do this same for the love of Jesus as a lot are causing him great anguish with their sins. St Paul's teaches us that through suffering we are one with Jesus and are partakers in his mission, "From now on let no one cause trouble for me, for I bear on my body the brand-marks of Jesus" (Galatians 6:17).

FROM MOUNT TABOR TO THE GARDEN OF GETHSEMANE

In the episode of mount tabor we read that Jesus took with him the apostles Peter, James and John, where they witnessed Jesus in glory, these apostles later on witnessed Jesus in the agony of fear in the garden of Gethsemane, did they understand what was happening? Probably we too are not understanding what is happening at the hill of Borg in-nadur where everyone is happy during the apparition of our lady[and rightly so!] As i explained during my earlier posts,I was the first witness....there where times when i felt that I am on mount tabor! Now unfortunately,I'm ill again and i feel I'm in the garden of Gethsemane for the second time,............do i still believe in all this? of course i do,...all the moments that I've spent on mount tabor has somehow helped and prepared me for this. I do believe that Jesus can heal me but i have to accept his will not mine!! Accepting his will is in fact the greatest miracle. The servant is no greater then his master. I encourage every person who is reading this to join me in prayer...those of you who are passing from an agonizing moment, fear not ....we are in the garden of Gethsemane, that is true, but we are not alone there is Jesus with us,he will not sleep but he will watch over us. let us do something with our fear, with our pain, let's unite them with Jesus' passion for the conversion of sinners...it is here where we will be truly passing on our lady's message to the world.

Prayer: Mary mother of God, my mother, I want unite my tears with your tears, take these tears to your son Jesus, where he can turn these tears into joy.....the joy for a converted soul.

JESUS CHRIST EMPTIED THE TOMB......

Jesus Christ emptied the tomb.........

And filled each tabernacle with his presence

I WITNESSED THE BROKEN GLASS BOX

The statue of the Immaculate conception was sealed in a glass box. One day when me,Catherine, Angelik and their oldest son were entering in their house, going up the stairs there was a smell, a beautiful smell[never experienced this kind of smell in my life] saw the glass box broken, I really cried and was in shock, but Catherine noticed that the statue had wept again and there was an amount of a yellowish liquid [like oil] on the statue. You can read the whole story here http://www.borgin-nadur.org/3.1_Testimonjanza_ta__Angelik___23_ta__Marzu_2007__en_.pdf also fr.Hayden's comments in this link below
http://www.borgin-nadur.org/6.1_Kummenti_ta__Fr_Hayden___23_ta__Marzu_2007__en_.pdf

This made me reflect on the moment of Christ's Resurrection, I reflected on the smell and thought of the spices that the women prepared for Christ's Body and the broken glass helped me to meditate on the moment when that big stone was rolled away.......as everything is possible for God CF Lk 24:1-12

THE URGENT NEED OF A RADICAL CONVERSION

As said earlier the signs are helping me to reflect on the importance of a radical conversion, so these are an eye opener...we need to wake up....this is an urgent call from our lady, as our mother she cares for us and she wants to guide and protect us from going astray.

Our God is full of mercy, all we need to do is to open our hearts to him.....In return he will not remeber our sins but enfold us in his love, we will be transformed in this love, ...to love as christ loved............

A LOT OF SIGNS OCCURRED

In the year 2006 a lot of signs occurred that me and ray witnessed to, so it's best to read this link and later on I will add my personal reflection http://www.borgin-nadur.org/3.1_Testimonjanza_ta__Angelik___23_ta__Marzu_2007__en_.pdf [ C.F father hayden's comment in this link ]
http://www.borgin-nadur.org/6.1_Kummenti_ta__Fr_Hayden___23_ta__Marzu_2007__en_.pdf

N.B One of my spiritual motto's is this "I BELIEVE IN ORDER TO SEE".......things happen for a reason, nothing is magical, they happen to draw our attention....to have radical conversion!!!!!!

In the gospel of mark 9:24 there this beautiful phrase by the father of the boy possessed by a demon " I do believe , help my unbelief". Jesus takes our little faith [the size of a mustard seed] in order to strengthen it.

QUEEN OF THE FAMILIES

The message of our lady of 11th may 2006, " I am the queen of peace and the queen of the families, conversion! conversion within families!

From this message we can reflect the importance of strong and united families in our society as Pope John points out in his apostolic letter on the rosary"The revival of the Rosary in Christian families, within the context of a broader pastoral ministry to the family, will be an effective aid to countering the devastating effects of this crisis typical of our age" par 6
As we all know Strong families are the backbone of our society, thus broken famlies will result in a broken society....and a broken society will give the result in a broken nation.....a broken nation will effect the whole world.
So let's start doing our part, let's start praying the rosary with our family first!

MARY IN THE HEART OF THE BLESSED TRINITY

Through my spiritual journey I have discovered that the more I pray the rosary the more I feel inner peace. This led me to reflect that our lady being the mother of the second person of the trinity takes us to the very heart of the blessed trinity where we are enfolded in peace, love, security and most of all divine mercy. Ah! if only humanity seeks to obtain these graces surely this culture of death that we are living in, will end!

POPE JOHN PAUL II ON THE ROSARY

Here I wish to highlight the importance of reciting daily the rosary and the significance. Late Pope John Paul II in his apostolic letter 'ROSARIUM VIRGINIS MARIAE' explains to us the beauty of this prayer "With the Rosary, the Christian people sits at the school of Mary and is led to contemplate the beauty on the face of Christ and to experience the depths of his love. Through the Rosary the faithful receive abundant grace, as though from the very hands of the Mother of the Redeemer".

Our Lady Comes To Visit Us

On the 21st of april of 2006, my friend Cathrine was shocked when her husband saw our lady for the first time. On her very first message Our lady said to Angelik to say the rosary and to tell others to do so too.

The pain of our blessed virgin mother

The following days me and my family witnessed to fresh blood on this statue, as it wept again and again. I reflected a lot on this phenomena, and it made me reflect on the pain of our lady and her son Jesus. Jesus being the new Adam came to restore what the old Adam [humanity] had destroyed through sin. He shed his blood, Died so that we may have life in us, and life in abundance, cf (John 10:10b) "I have come that they may have life and have it to the full."
I asked myself, are we accepting this gift of life? are we accepting Jesus and his mother in our lives. This is the pain of our lady and Jesus, that we keep on resisting and rejecting them by sinning.....so my first thought was the need of conversions in families, starting with my family first.......

To Christ Through Mary

Exactly after this intervention, I started feeling a great presence of our Lady,I was shocked and filled in great awe, Through this presence I know her son was there....I knew that from then on If I wanted to go to Christ I had to do it through our lady. I began to understand more what i've read and studied before...that when God gives you something you must give witness, you must share God's awe and wonder..
CF "My soul magnifies the Lord",...(Luke 1: 41-45).
The Catechism of the Catholic Church describes the Magnificat as"the song both of the Mother of God and of the Church" [CCC 2619],
so let us all pray this beautiful hymn every day

'Behold your mother'" (Jn 19:26-27).

One day I came to know that a woman bought a statue of our lady of Immaculate conception and after a week it wept blood.
One day this lady came to visit me and she said to me "I was told how much you've suffered and I promise you that when I recieve the statue [as it was taken to the church authorities for investigation] you'll be the first to see it.
So the day came when I was invited to go, I couldn't go up the stairs...when I finally managed to go near the statue I was moved, and I wanted to kneel down but with no success as the pain was terrible, so my friend Cathrine [the onwner of the statue] decided to put it on my knees instead[ as by this time I was sitting down] and then I said this prayer, "dear Holy Mary, you know how much I've suffered please take this pain away" And when I got up all the pain was gone, there and then.......................

"Near the cross of Jesus stood His mother." (John 19:25).

The chemotherapy has it's side effects on me, it affected my legs. I was in so much pain that I could not walk properly, in fact I had to do extra effort to walk. I could not bear my cross any longer....it is here where our blessed virgin mother intervened.........to be continued

To meet the risen Christ you have to go through his cross first

I WILL NEVER FORGET THE LOOK OF THE CRUCIFIED CHRIST THAT I SAW IN EVERY PATIENT.

CF ISAIAH 53

Going Down the hill [part two]

Every injection that I took during my treatment of chemotherapy helped me to reflect more on tha nails that went through our Lord's hands during his passion, In every fear,in every burden I meditated on the cross that Christ had carried for me, so all the suffering helped me to really meet Christ thus helped me to grow spiritually. So I've learned that when we feel that we're in the desert,naked....it is then when our master start to clothe us with the holy spirit, with his word...only in silence we are able to listen to God......cf Hosea 2:17-18.
